  1. January Goals

01/04/10 08:33:34 | 2 People who also have something to say

In an effort to break down my 2010 goals into managable tasks, I've decided to try monthly goals. I also admit that this will give me at least two blog posts each month - one to list goals, one to report on progress. Don't give me any grief. I have family for that.

    Stitching Goals for January:

    1. Select and purchase DMC for Nativity Story Table Runner, cut and serge fabric, and stitch on the piece for at least 8 hours.
    2. Finish part 7 of Medieval Town...

I just didn't think it was wise to try to place the buttons after several glasses of champagne on NYE. Plus, I wanted to give it a bath before buttons. ...
  4. My friends are full of awesome!

First, over the weekend, the pin cushion MissyAnn made, which I was lucky enough to win in the random draw, arrived at my house. See it displayed on the table by the stitching chair in my office.
image I do love these colors together. Thank you Melissa! It is likely to see quite a bit of use in the near future as I have several...
  5. Table runner news

11/18/09 16:41:01 | 3 People who also have something to say

You know that Nativity Story Table Runner I want to stitch as my monthly project for 2010? Well, I finally decided that I want to stitch it on a 32 count fabric, which would be more like 34 count on a hand dyed fabric. Of all the fabrics I looked at, I really thought that PTP's Relic was the closest to what I envisioned for that sort of aged look. But,...
