to feel good again. This is week 4 on the beta blocker, and I am just about convinced it is a miracle drug. At least for me. I inadvertently proved that my excessively high heart rate and breathing while exercising was the primary source of my chest pain. I forgot to take my miracle pill one day before I went to the gym. I was miserable, and the trainers at the gym were convinced I was going to have a heart attack. People on the far side of the gym could hear me breathing - that's how bad I was sucking wind (180 bpm heart rate AVERAGE for 20 min). Never realized until then how loud my breathing was. And, I was in extreme pain afterward - and for a couple of days. Learn me to forget my happy drugs! Compare that to today's workout at an average of 140 bpm. Yes, I was breathing heavy, but not literally sucking wind. AND NO PAIN!!!!!!

So, I will not be having my gall bladder out. No reason to take out a perfectly functioning gall bladder just because it has gall stones. Certainly, I will stay aware of the stones. But for now, the GB stays.

Another cool thing about this. I'm not dreading going to the gym. I mean, exercising is never going to be something I am happy to do. But, I don't wake up and dread going to the gym now. Workouts go more quickly, too.
