I have been remiss in posting a pic of the wonderful RAK Carol (Caronslilies) sent to me. She had offered her Bug Collector chart to a new home, and being a recently rabid JD fan, I jumped at the opportunity. But, Carol saw my post about receiving Mini Perle as a RAK and that I was a needlepoint newbie. So, she sent me canvas and a host of other goodies too numerous to mention (hence the pic):

to feel good again. This is week 4 on the beta blocker, and I am just about convinced it is a miracle drug. At least for me. I inadvertently proved that my excessively high heart rate and breathing while exercising was the primary source of my chest pain. I forgot to take my miracle pill one day before I went to the gym. I was miserable, and the trainers at the gym were convinced I was going to have a heart attack. People on the far side of the gym could hear me breathing - that's how...Of Goals and Such

Remember some time ago I posted about my goals? Well, I got to thinking that I should look at what progress I've made. Hm. Not so much. I made seven goals. I've achieved four of them, but then relapsed on one. Looks good on paper? Here's what I've not managed:
Grand Plan #1 - stitch one hour during each weekday on either MTM or EP. Have not touched either WIP since making this goal. I am a loser. Actually, I think I have too many BAPs, so I am practicing...Hi Honey, I'm home! Miss me?

Back from vacation. Very relaxing. Well, except for the day we spent running around Disney (Magic Kingdom). That was fun, but in a hurry-up and cram it all in sort of way. What I want to know is why you cannot buy a cocktail in the Disney Parks. I mean, why call it the Magic Kingdom, the place where dreams come true, if there are no lovely beverages to help you on your way. Really, what are they thinking. I made it three days in the sun before my sun allergy hit. That's pretty good for...At least a partial answer

So, today was my stress echo-cardiogram and follow up with the cardiologist. If you are sick of my medical/health misadventures, stop reading now. If you want to tell me how much more you know than do I or my doctor, please don't go there. I'll be deleting those messages without a response.

For a particular project, I need Au Ver A Soie 100/3 in the following colors: 357, 491, 284, 710, 135, and 004. And, Soie de Paris in the following colors: 2632, 2116 (x2), 4611, 4612 (x2), 1441, 2125, 5384 (x2), and 1423.
I am collecting Rainbow Gallery's Petite Treasure Braid (I prefer it to Kreinik). Colors I need: 35, 36, 37, 38, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 64, 67, 68, 201, 202, 206.
I am slowly becoming a fan of WDW and GAST. I have a very small collection, so any additions are welcome!
I also like Gloriana silks - so yummy!
Other Stitching
I bead as well as stitch, so fun beads of any type are fun to have. Delicas are my favorite seed bead. I like fun glass beads of all types!
Hobby Lobby stopped carrying the needles I like. John James Petites - I use mostly 28's and 26's, but I do like the 24's for pearl and metallic fibers. I also use the #10 beading needle A LOT!
Fabric
I stitch mostly on linen (NO Permin or Wichelt linens), but I like lugana, too. Jobelan and Jubilee don't work as well for me. As for color, I like hand dyeds and neutral solids. Country Stitch fabrics are my favorite hand dyeds.
As for non-stitchy things, I am an avid reader of fantasy and historical fiction. This is my Amazon wishlist. I do keep it up to date for books and DVDs. I love faeries and chocolate (esp. dark).
